OFFICIAL RULES & REGULATIONS FOR CONTESTS

The following stipulates basic contest rules for 98.3 FLY-FM.

98.3 FLY-FM contests are open to all listeners in our over the air coverage area unless otherwise specified by 98.3 FLY-FM and its affiliates
Winner may only win once in a 30-day period for any contest produced on 98.3 FLY-FM
One winner per household
Winner has 30 days from the time the prize is available and/or the date of winning to make arrangements to receive.
All taxes, insurance, registration and fees apply to winner if necessary
All unclaimed prizes will be forfeited.
98.3 FLY-FM is at liberty to give away any unclaimed prize at the end of the thirty, (30) day grace period.
In the event a winner chooses not to accept a prize, they forfeit any and all claims to the prize which can be awarded to a contest runner up at the discretion of 98.3 FLY-FM
All major prizes will be given away by 98.3 FLY-FM. Odds of winning depend on the number of qualified entries.
98.3 FLY-FM reserves the right, due to the unavailability or reasons outside of CHUM Radio Kingston and 98.3 FLY-FM control, to substitute prize(s) of equal value.
In case of dispute over telephone lines, the decision of 98.3 FLY-FM is final.
If contest is administered all or in part over the internet, CHUM Radio Kingston and 98.3 FLY-FM is not responsible for lost, interrupted or unavailable miscommunications, failed servers, interrupted telephone or computer transmissions, technical failure, jumbled or scrambled transmissions of any kind whether human, mechanical or technical.
98.3 FLY-FM, its agencies, affiliates, sponsors or representatives absolve themselves of any liability, financial or otherwise, resultant of an "on" or "off" air contest staged by 98.3 FLY-FM.
Employees, Immediate Family, Agents, Successors and assignees of CHUM Radio Kingston and 98.3 FLY-FM and advertising agencies, sponsor and promotional companies involved in contests shall be ineligible to participate in contests.
Winner(s) must be 19 years of age at time of contest participation. All provincial laws apply.
Proper identification is required prior to receiving prize (valid driver's license, passport, provincial ID).
Designated representative - in very unique situations, a designated representative will be permitted to accept prizes on behalf of a winner. Written authorization from the winner is required. Letter must include designated representative's name, ID and a photocopy of the winner's driver's license. 98.3 FLY-FM will qualify what constitutes a "very unique situation" -- All material submitted to CHUM Radio Kingston and 98.3 FLY-FM become sole property and shall not be returned
Entrance in contest and acceptance of prize must grant CHUM Radio Kingston and 98.3 FLY-FM exclusive permission to use their names, characters, photographs, voice-likeness in connection with promotions and contests and must waive any claims to remuneration for such use
Persons found tampering with any aspect of promotion or contest will result in immediate disqualification
CHUM Radio Kingston and 98.3 FLY-FM are not responsible for any ineligible or entries lost or mutilated in the mail or via the internet
98.3 FLY-FM is not responsible for defective prizes
All prizes are non-transferable, void where prohibited by law
Additions or deletions to these rules and regulations are subject to the discretion of 98.3 FLY-FM and may be edited without notice at any time.
Contest rules can be obtained at any time from CHUM Radio Kingston and 98.3 FLY-FM.
The name(s) of prize winner(s) can be obtained at any time from CHUM Radio Kingston and 98.3 FLY-FM up to a 30-day period after the promotion or contest closes.
