| EPILEPSY KINGSTON'S SIXTH ANNUAL "STARRY NIGHT" On Saturday, April 12, 2008 (6:30 p.m.) Epilepsy Kingston will be hosting their sixth annual Starry Night event at the Confederation Place Hotel. Guests will have the opportunity to participate in live and silent auctions and to enjoy dinner and live entertainment by "Kyra and Tully". Tickets for the event are $40 per person or $300 for a table of 8. All money raised goes directly to support Epilepsy Kingston activities in south-eastern Ontario. Epilepsy Kingston is a non-profit organization that provides support for individuals and families, training and education in schools, communities & workplaces and non-medical services required by individuals with epilepsy. One in a hundred Canadians has epilepsy. This number is greater than the incidence of multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, cystic fibrosis and cerebral palsy combined and doubled. You can help improve the quality of life for those affected by working with us to bring epilepsy out of the shadows and into the light of understanding. | Come to Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area where the Kingston and Area Fly Fishing Club is offering a one-day introduction to fly fishing and fly casting course. The emphasis will be on casting technique with hands-on insturction. Some time will be spent on related concerns such as equipment, safety and other topics associated with fly fishing in the Kingston area. A demonstration of fly tying is also planned. The cost is $20 per person (ages 12 and up) plus the gate entry fee. Necessary equipment will be provided but you may also bring your own. Bring a lunch and wear weather appropriate clothing.
