From Rosemary:

“ The Guernsey Literary And Potato Peel Pie Society” by Mary Ann Shaffer & Annie Barrows (Historical fiction)

“Still Alice” by Lisa Genova (about a brilliant 50 yr. old Harvard Professor coping with early onset Alzheimer’s disease and how it affects her 3 children & husband.)

From Sherrie:

I'd like to recommend a few......Life of Pi - Yann Martel, The Other Side of the Bridge - Mary Lawson, The Book of Negros-Lawrence Hill, Glass House - Jeanette Walls, The Tipping Point- Malcolm Gladwell and for those women over 40 a great funny read that we all can relate to by Nora Ephron - I Feel Bad about my Neck ( Ms. Ephron wrote the screenplays for When Harry Met Sally and Sleepless in Seatle. All great reads that will add pleasure to your summer relaxation.

From Drew:

If you want a book that will keep you going until next summer, just read "The Historian" It's a vampire novel with a historical geographical slant

From Christina:

Anything by Nicholas Sparks is fabulous for lazy summer afternoons in a chaise drinking soem lemonade/ice tea.

From Deborah:

It's not a shiny happy book....but it's topical and gives a disturbing look into the roots of some of today's problems....The Kite Runner, Khaled Hosein

From Nicola:

My Sister's Keeper great book! Then you can go see the movie after you read it :)

From Sherrie:

Tuesdays With Morrie - Mitch Albom .. awesome book..read it twice!

I am going to have to go with the entire Twilight series!! Every one of the books is fantastic. It takes you right into the story, which makes it VERY hard to put down. I read all four books in a matter of days. Everyone I have talked to is the same. It is a great story line. A must read for all!!!!

From Ginette:

Light reading for summer...Summer on Blossom Street by Debbie Macomber (actually ANY Debbie Macomber is a fantastic read!!!) -- Mr. and Miss Anonymous by Fern Michaels -- Lavendar Morning by Jude Deveraux -- ALL GREAT READS!!!!
